I just set up my TrackIR 5 for the first time. I run the config software and everything seems to work fine for anywhere from 20 seconds to a minute.. then suddenly the movement is no longer tracked even though both the green and yellow lights are still on.
I have to exit the TrackIR software and reload it to get showing movement again. I have changed nothing since I am just getting started and have no idea how to use or calibrate yet other than hitting F12 to center it. When it is working, it is smooth and X and Y axis are right on the money... then it just stops moving even though the lights stay on..
Ideas?

Malakie,
Could you submit a list of your computer specs? It could be something like Raptr interfering with the software. Are the lights green or yellow/orange when it isn't tracking? What games or simulations are you using TrackIR in?

I think I just solved it.. Had it plugged into a powered USB port extender... Changed it to a port on my G-19 and now so far it is working..
Tried it in Elite Dangerous and it stayed working.. Next want to get it working in Star Citizen and then DCS.... So for now, it seems to be doing ok... If it changes I can post again. Would plug into the main system ports but 1) they are all full and 2) the main system I have is too far away!

Malakie,
The hard part about having a lot of peripherals is that you run out of space. I'm glad to hear it is up and running for you. Good luck in the games!
