Hi i own a trackir 5, using 5.3..i noticed my 980ti ram down clock when i run the trackir software..the gpu still boosts but the ram drops..the mem should run at 7010mhz (3505) and does so...as soon as i run trackir 5.3 it drops to 6608 (3304)..its like the software is controlling the power state of the card ?
windows 10
980ti (various drivers)
only has issues when running this software.is this normal..have i wasted my money ?..
Please help

Re: Please help
tetryon,
I currently don't have a 980ti to test this on. I will be looking into it and hopefully find the source soon. Once I find the source we can work on a solution, but I don't have an immediate solution.
Regards,

Re: Please help
Tried it on my 980Ti, and on my machine this does NOT happen.
My mem timings are 3505MHz. (7010) regardless of if TrackIR is active or not.
Tested it on ARMA3 using TrackIR5 with latest software.
So i would say, maybe your problem is elsewhere? Or

Re: Please help
tetryon,
It seems the problem is intermittent and seems to be an NVIDIA bug. I have reproduced the issue on one machine here, but not on several others. We are looking into it more, but intermittent problems are much harder to track down.
