Mouse emulation fails to load

Hi,

I'm unable to launch the mouse emulation software.
I'm on Windows 10.

When I click on the shortcut I got an error message from TIRMouse.exe saying that a reference has been sent by the server.

Any idea?

Same her on Win7 64bit. Same problem, same error message.
Trying to run it as an admin didn't solve the problem neither.

I managed to have it load by using the compatibility mode, and checking admin rights, and windows XP compatibility mode.

Though the software is still useless, as it requires the software to be the active window, therefore I can't use it in games...

Changing the compatibility in the applications properties menu worked for me, where right-clicking and running as admin from that menu didn't work.

The software is older, but does work in some titles. It isn't maintained and is included just to support titles in the past that have used it.
