I recently I had to format my HDD and have reinstalled Track IR and Elite Dangerous Horizons.
My problem is I now have a conflict with TrackIR 5 in Elite Dangerous. I used the new drivers which are version (TrackIR_5.3.0)
When I use Track IR I have no access to the Elite Dangerous Horizons menu system which uses the escape key. In fact the escape key does not respond at all in game, turn off Track IR and all is OK again and the menu system is available.
Last night I reinstalled both ED and TrackIR but nothing has changed.
I have tested several different keyboards, and my main keyboard runs TrackIR with no problems in ILL-2 Cliffs of Dover, so it's an ED problem. Also I have run "mskey" which detects keyboard strokes and the escape key is working.
All was working OK using the earlier version of the drivers.
Does anyone else have this problem? Or anyone know where I could get a copy of the previous TrackIR driver IE version 5.2.0 the website now only has the new version.
And as I formatted my HDD the previous TrackIR drivers are gone as I foolishly thought I'd use the updated ones.
I am running Windows 7 64bit SP1.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. At the moment playing ED is a bit like driving your car and not being able to look out the side windows.
