TrackIR5 and a future with Star Citizen

Hello,

I have owned my TrackIR5 for years it seems now, but I am 50 so time has started accelerating lol ;) I may be over stating.

I follow and am a supporter of the game Star Citizen and I see all manner of topics and content about the darn Oculus Rift VR headset but not a lot about TrackIR (X).

Is the TrackIR team in contact with the SC developers to keep up to date and be a solid part of the game's development like it seems the VR headset is?

I absolutly love my TrackIR5 and I feel the need to reasure myself and the guys I "fly" with that our investment was not in vain.

Hello,

Yes we are in contact with them, but at this time it is just a waiting game. It will be back in and it should be soon. They are working on fixing a few other things before implementing TrackIR.

Excellent news Mr. Witham!

I like the freedom TrackIR5 gives me to be aware of my computing environment.

The VR headsets shut me in so I can not see my peripherals and I have a lot because I not only play SC but other Flying games and a few racing sims.

Wheels, Pedals, Joy Sticks, Game Pads, Instrumentation gizzmos, Various Tablets to name a few of the other things I need to be aware of when I play lol.
