I just got a new joystick, and I am trying to find an alternate zoom method for DCS. I have a modifer on my joystick, that when pressed in dcs, the Z axis on trackir goes from normal operation to zoom operation. The problem is with trueview on, zooming with Z axis only really works well when looking forward. But I need trueview for normal cockpit operation.
I am looking to some how write a script or find an option so that trueview is disabled while pressing this joystick button, but is operational when the button is released.
