Yes the head on the right turns slowly from the time it starts going slow in game untill I shut it down and restart it. If it starts lagging in game and I close the game and go edit the profile im using the head track is slow as it is in the game.It doesnt do it in all games just seems to be some but not all. When I say all games I mean in IL2 but it plays up on some and not other maps.

My track ir is direct to the m/board.I put the latest drivers in last week but due to lack of interest I have only tried it once and it did work. I will try it some more when the motivation to use it comes back.

My tir is connected direct to the mb.
I have updated the drivers.
I dont know if it does it in other programs because I dont own any other programs it works in.
Which actually means I dont have any progs it works in i spose.

Its still playing up.No ideas at all Rick ?
Format my PC and reinstall IL2 and Track IR ?
Its great when it working but useless when it plays up,it means I have to bail from a game to reboot track ir.

Hello,

Rick is no longer working for NaturalPoint, some family issues required his attention. I apologize for any delay in response.

If you have an nforce motherboard I would suggest checking out this thread:

Does the TrackIR cause sluggish behavior in other games you play or just IL-2?

IL2 is the only game I have that it works in.
However it is not the game that goes slow its track ir. It can take up to 20 sec to turn say 90 deg right.
Its a tir3 not four.
Read this post ey.

Its now 1 year 8 months.
I must say I am very disappointed in your product/support.
I rang the supplier I bought it off who told me to post here and it has done me no good whatsoever.
If I had bought it from a reputable retailer I would have taken it back for either exchange or a refund instead I am just down the money.

I'm sorry that you feel this way about the support you have been getting. let me see if we can resolve the issue.

1 - Which version of the TrackIR software are you running?

2 - Looking at your TrackIR profiles, located here by default (C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles), what is the file size of each profile listed here?

3 - What other applications do you have running in the background? Any firewall/anti-virus applications?

4 - Have you disabled the the periodic news check, under Options?

5 - Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?

In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.
