Unpausing in FS2002

Post by RSJeff »

I've been tweaking my TrackIR for several days now and overall I'm generally very impressed; thanks to those who helped me iron out my initial problems in the tech support forum; I'm also looking forward to the next generation of software, as I think the improvements I'd like to see have generally been addressed. Just one last question: I've mapped my TrackIR function keys to regular keyboard keys, then mapped my MS FF joystick buttons to those keys so that I'm easily able to recenter my view with a quick press of the thumb on one of my joystick buttons. But one command that seems lost in the FS2002 module is the pause function; I can get the head tracking to pause, but I can't get it to resume with a second click of the same button. Trying to use the F8/"mode" function for the same purpose didn't work either. This seems like a software issue, hopefully one that will be fixed with 2.0, but if anybody has any recs I'd be grateful. Thanks!

Hmm, it should pause and unpause with the Pause Hotkey. I think it works on my Win2K machine. Try assigning it to another key.

Worst case is that it is fixed in 2.0, as we have combined the Enable and Pause functions into one key, with option for toggle.

Glad that the other issues were sorted out.
