Track IR Jitter

Hi Everyone,
I have a clean XP setup and a clean and properly operating FS2002. My problem is that the track IR causes the virtual cockpit view do jitter with just the slightest motion of my head. I have set thr IR controlls to slowest and max smoothing. Anybody have a solution?

PS. Is there any way to setup a dead zone around the center position of the track IR?

Hello:

Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of trackIR software, 2.0. It has predefined profiles with deadzones built in.

Thanks. Yes I have the latest v2.0. The dead zone does not seem to work when enabled in the trackir window. If I hold my head steady then move just slightly (off center pt) the mouse moves. Is this correct?

Yes, the mouse will always move in a linear manner, you must be in trackIR Enhanced mode to realize the dead zones. FS2002 will not work unless you are in Enhanced Mode. Hit F8 to turn it on.
