I've recently bought TrackIR and am wondering now why I waited to so long.
But it does seem to take a lot of head movement to look around and I can't seem to get a full up and down. I have the trackIR positioned about 15 inches from the dots and I'm using a 5 dot arrangement on the end of my boom mic. I don't think there is a problem with it seeing the dot as I can move the mic to the full travel of the motion field. I've tried different distances and the settings on the x and y axis but to no avail.
Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Help with movement range
Re: Help with movement range
If you are talking about IL-2,make sure mouse emulation mode is checked and then try setting your mouse sensitivity (in the hardware ,input ,set up page of IL-2 ) to 1.4 or 1.5). You should get better range of motion and be able to set the Trackir sensitivity down.
Re: Help with movement range
Thanks so much.
Worked great plus I now have IL2 FB which is even more impressive. Now I have to work on my cougar file to take out the padlock views.
Thanks again
