Hello, I have exactly the same problem. Random camera detection. After different test, uninstall, reinstall, registry key. My camera is installed correctly, since I can recognize it in the device manager. I specify that I have a trackir 5, but that the symptoms are the same. Thank you in advance.

I can add my TIR-4 to the list. WIn 10 is possibly the culpit with some bad updates in the last month or so.
Track_ir 4 is selectively available on its own descretion
