Hello,
I just bought the IR Tracker 5 Pro.
Installed it according to the instructions that came with the package. Updated to 5.4.2 and pointed to MSFS2020. I have tried several different settings but usually just jumps, rotates and is out of control. I am using MSFS 2020 A320NX (FlyByWire). I have almost given up now and do not use the IR Tracker anymore. Hope you can give me the advice that can improve the situation for me.
Best Regards

Hello Folke Ekeroth,
Try testing your device in the TrackIR software to see if it is responsive. Make sure you have the right tracking target selected.
If you are finding it jumpy, it is possible the TrackIR camera is detecting IR light interference. This could be due to sunlight through an open window, other IR light sources in the room, and/or IR light reflecting off from reflective objects.
Right-click anywhere on the matrix then click “Camera View” and look for red dots. These are indicators of light interference and will cause problems with the camera tracking system. Ideally, it should see only three green dots in the view.

- Limit reflective objects in camera view.
- Eye-glasses can cause interference.
- Lower the light filter threshold in the camera settings.

and found that item 1 and 2 caused almost problem. With small adjustment I have now control over the situation again. I need to adjust the curves but don´t realy know exactly how it affect the situation. Would like to have it little more somoth and se more of the overhead (pitch up) and se more of the panel (pitsh down)and at least the parking brake (A320). Hope I can find out something.
But I´m happy to bought this product. I like it and can recomend it!

Re: My new IR tracker not work in MSFS
Folke,
I am glad you are enjoying your TrackIR!
Here are some ways you could try adjusting your curves:
If you would like to see more of the panel in MSFS, you can use the scroller on your mouse within the game to manually change the Z-axis default. From there your TrackIR will still sense your Z-axis movements but you will have a more extended view.
Hope this helps. Happy flying!

Here are some ways you could try adjusting your curves:
- Enter TrackIR software and find the Motion Adjustment settings in the Profiles menu
- Set your Axis to Pitch
- Adjust the dots on the curve to be higher on the Y-axis of the graph to increase the speed (sensitivity) of the Pitch function. An easy way to adjust this is to press the green up arrow and it will raise the entire curve.
