Snake,

I and a bunch of us in the FREEBIRDSWING F4 squad use this TIR support for F4 utility and it works fine in the 3D cpit.

My rig is a WinXP Home Sp1 with Falcon4 SP3 using the Aeyes 1600 res F16 superpit (which I beta tested).

Everything is peachy and wanted to say thanks and give hope to those that want to know if this works for WinXP. If/when you get the 2D cpit support, send it my way and Ill test it for you on my rig.

Note too, that TIR works great for IL2-FB and MSFS2002 (with latest TIR 2.11 beta).

S~
I bought this little, promising gadget. I have Falcon but have not installed SP3 which I will try this weekend.
I have windows ME. Will kx2us s files work with it??
If so, can someone e mail the F4 TIR profile to me?
Thanks!!

Snake, you finally did it! Just downloaded it and checked it out, fantastic! I don't know if you remember me but I was on awhile back trying to trackir to work. Had kinda of a workaround but nothing like this. Did you code it yourself? Do you have flanker2.5? I was wondering if the same solution (of course coded to talk to flanker) would work. Flanker has a free mouse type view but its pretty unpredictable.

Thanks

Vexx,
Sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been building a new computer. It's not my code at all., its Kx2us's program. Right now we still need a good 2D cockpit solution but his program is great in the 3d cockpit!! I've been trying to convince him to make a keystroke program for the 2D cockpit and other sims like Flanker that need better support

Just received TrackIR. Have followed the instructions to the letter. Things start to fall apart when in F4. In normal cockpit view I can see my cursor move with my head movements but no change in views. When I press #3 nothing is going on. The view is straight up and F12 has no effect. Any help greatly appreciated.

Is some one working on way to start up this program with out Alt Tab. I only say this because if you alt tab you lose to images on recon for your target in the UI and the image of the aircraft load out in the UI. I found a work around but its not a good way to start up a flight.

1. I start up the way it says to in the instructions.

2. I start a training TE and when I get in pit I exit back back to the UI.

3. I start up the mission I want to fly and (Mulitplayer or not) then I am able to see the load out and the recon of the target.

As I said this is not a very good way to be able to get the pictures back, but it works.

I was just wondering if anyone was working on this issue.

SailorDocYou still have the Nautralpoint software in mouse mode you need to turn it to enhanced mode which the default key for it IIRC is F8 (must have version 2.0 or greater).
