One other thing I meant to say about padlocking, yes I still use it to stablize the view once I have found what I wanted by panning with the TrackIR.

So If I understand this right it will not work with just Falcon 4.0 and SP3/SP4? I have to
add all the other FF,BMS etc.?

BMS is what enables it.
I am not sure what BMS requires but I am assuming it requires 1.08 patch at minimum.

Thanks: Since I only have Falcon 4.0,1.08us, SP3 and a couple of Aeyers(spelling) cockpits installed. I decided to just go for it. I installed
BMS and a window popped up with a patch
editor. I clicked on the one box displayed and
hit refresh I think? When done had a new Icon on my screen. Double clicked on it and into Falcon I went. Had to set my video card in setup and change the textures to 32 bit and now funtioning properly. Could not use the
nice pit with TRIR2 had to use the less glorious
one.
