Powering Active Tags only via USB
Powering Active Tags only via USB
Hello, we've received recently some of your Active Tags for tracking an HMD (Focus 3 + custom mount we are currently working on). This device has an extra usb-c connector on the front. To save some weight we'd like to know if we can power supply the pcb only via an usb-micro to usb-c adapter without the need of extra connecting the lipo?

Hi Frankfurt,
I checked with our engineers and it sounds like you should be able to use the USB-C to Micro converter to power the tag.
If you have any other questions feel free to reach out to us directly.
Cheers,
Steven

We'd like to know if we can power the pcb just with a usb-micro to usb-c adaptor, eliminating the requirement for an additional lipo connection.
