And now this is happening to me too. The software totally hangs on startup and does not work at all. Started again the software does the same thing. I proceeded to uninstall by cleaning the Windows 10 registry and I still did not solve the problem. The only recent update is the drivers for my Nvidia 3080 ti video card. Some advice?
Honestly if TrackIR5 is known to not have these issues I'd gladly get the newer model and a new track clip pro, since mine is held together with some kinda putty lol. But I'd much rather hope they release a new version of thee software SOON. There hasn't been an update since 2016!!
