TrackIR 5 window won't start

And now this is happening to me too. The software totally hangs on startup and does not work at all. The device is showing to be working properly under Device Manager/Naturalpoint Devices/TrackIR 4

Honestly if TrackIR5 is known to not have these issues I'd gladly get the newer model and a new track clip pro, since mine is held together with some kinda putty lol. But I'd much rather hope they release a new version of thee software SOON. There hasn't been an update since 2016!!

I also had the same error but couldn't launch it again, it's terrible

Hello corepresence,

Which error are you having exactly? One thing to try is to delete Settings.xml and ProfileMap.dat from C:\Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5. This should clear any corrupted settings that may be keeping the TrackIR software from launching successfully. If that doesn't help, try starting the software with the TrackIR disconnected, and then connecting it after the software has loaded.
