I'm interested in purchasing the EG version of the SmartNAV, because my constant use of a mouse has weakened my right wrist to the point of constant aching.
I'm encouraged by the level of participation that NaturalPoint staff seem to provide on these forums, so hopefully someone can clear up these questions:
1. Can Smartnav emulate a scrollwheel? How do you otherwsie scroll a document? Do I have to aim my head at a tiny scrollbar arrow??
2. I've read bits and pieces about a precision mode - I'm guessing this works by increasing the ratio of head movement to pointer-movement while a hotkey is depressed - is that right?
3. I have two 18.1" panels with a total desktop area of 2560x1024 - is that going to cause a problem, since I do actually have to move my head significantly to take in the full width. Would I mount the device at the top of the narrow fap between the monitors?
4. Do you ship to the UK, and does this affect the 30 day trial period?

Re: some queries
Hello:
Q1, yes, we can emulate a scroll wheel, just hold down the Scroll Hotkey, or footswitch and move your head up and down, it will scroll the page.
Q2, you are correct about how precison mode works, but it only works with switch input, no hotkey as of yet.
Q3, it will work on that big of a desktop, but you will have to help it out a bit to get the best performance. I would recommend wearing a hat with a dot on the end of the brim to increase the "dot travel", it helps by about 2X.
Thanks for your interest in SmartNAV!
