dwell leftclickdrags and border thickness
anyone out there found a good way of moving thin borders with dwell left click drag tool? Specific pain in the butt example is if you use firefox browser and have your bookmarks in column on your left, it is the verticle bar separating the windows. Many programs use them. Using my display options i can make the outer borders of windows thicker for fast easy fast dragging but what about the thin border i refer to?
Re: dwell leftclickdrags and border thickness
Have you tried adjusting the dwell click settings, such as object size and dwell time?
If you were to decrease the size and the time it may be easier to get those small border controls.

Hi there,
You could also try adjusting Windows appearance setting to make scroll bars, active window border etc. Thicker. I did this and it helped me.
To get to these settings, right click anywhere on the desktop, click properties, click the appearance tab, click advanced. Then select the particular setting you would like to change in the "item" drop down box, now adjust the "size" (you will see a preview in the window)
Now click ok and ok again.
I hope this helps,
Best wishes,
Martin

I guess nautural point has an object size setting for its dwell clicking. Other products use a jitter box setting. Are they the same thing? what is difference?
Also the display settings your talking about. Which setting controls the verticle bar divididing the bookmarks column and the main window as I mentions in 1st part of this thread?

The object size setting (or movement threshhold) in our dwell software is the same as the jitter box setting in other dwell click programs.
The new firefox build 1.02 has a scroll bar on the history pane now and should be easier to access.
I am not sure that this bar was editable from the windows appearance settings before, though since it is now a scroll bar you would want to look for adjusting the 'scroll bar' in windows appearance settings (under the advanced tab in XP) and make the size bigger.

Re: dwell leftclickdrags and border thickness
thanks for help but i was only using firefox as example and the idea is to grab the thin bar to the right of the firefox bookmark scroll bar and move it left to right. In VB.NET programming interface(Visual Studio.net 2003) there are many of these thin bars to move left and right and it is a real stress trying to grab them.
