Suggestion for a future TIR version

Post by Hotdognz »

Hi Jim I have a neat suggestion for a future version of TIR you may like to add to the white board for consideration.

I have just loaded up my Game Commander 2 to start using it with IL2 and I noticed I could assigne a sound to a action so that if it recognised what i said it played a wav file of my choice and if it didnt recongnise what i said it played a diffrent vav file of my choice, anyway these wav files worked fine while I was playing IL2 FB so I thought why not add a feature like this to TIR for the F8 & F9 keys, this would give a audible warning/sign that you had either switched TIR off or on F9 or you had either switched TIR to Mouse or Absolute mode.

So Press F8 in the game and you get a wav file
say

"Mouse Mode Enabled" press F8 again and it "will then say Absolute Mode Enabled"

Press F9 when TIR is offand it will say "Track IR on" press again and it will say "Track IR OFF"

Would stop any confusion as to what mode you are in and if TIR was off or on.

Yeah that sounds great but can we just have a shorter version like "absolute" and "mouse". We all know what they mean.

Oh boy. HotDog gets a cookie for this one!!!

This would be awesome, but as someone pointed out, make it short so not to take up to much time frame.

Maybe....
"Mode Absolute"
"Mode Relative"
"Tracking Paused"
"Tracking Enabled"
"Precision On"
"Precision Off"
"Centered"

Dont use some corny wanker voice either. See if you can get Julia Roberts to lay the tracks for them.
