Hello everyone,
I am currently working on a project to track head pose using headgear equipped with markers. I've started calibrating using the Motive app and have successfully completed the first step with a calibration wand, obtaining the initial set of values. However, the next step in the process usually requires a calibration square, which I do not possess.
I'm considering using a chessboard for calibration instead but am unsure how this fits into the existing pipeline. Could anyone clarify if skipping the calibration square step could impact the accuracy of the final calibration? Additionally, if using a chessboard is viable, should it also be integrated via the Motive app?
I'd appreciate insights on the typical calibration pipeline—should it progress from the calibration wand, to chessboard, and finally to the headgear? Any guidance or tips from your experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!
