5.5.1 issue

The latest update 5.5.1 did fix the issue I had with my profile acting different, but now it’s not recognizing any games. It doesn’t auto minimize to the system tray.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Please make sure you have run the Games Update and allowed the TrackIR software to restart. Any time the software is reinstalled, it is necessary to run the Games Update.

Have you verified the settings (under the wrench icon in the upper left) to confirm that "Minimize To System Tray" and "Automatically Minimize On Game Launch" are checked? You may also want to check "Run Minimized" under Startup.

Same problem here. How do you update games list (no updates signaled) ?
I have done a check for game update, I got "your game list is up to date" as answer. But Tir5 still not seen by "IL2 great battles (battle of Stalingrad)" neither by "DCS".
5.5.0 running fine.

OK now 5.5.1 is recognized in IL2 (DCS also I suppose).
What I have done:
- I wanted to remove 551 to reinstall 550.
- I opened windows control panel to remve track ir 550 programs.
- the removal Tir5 windowd poped up and I tick the repair option (just to see what would happen). Repair seemed to reload drivers.
I restart trackir and now it is working with IL2.
So for me the repair option did the trick.

Hello there! Not OP, but I have same situation. Just updated from 5.5.0 to 5.5.1 (5.5.1.192), did a game list update, then did a system restart, but nothing. Tried DCS (standalone, not Steam, if it matters), Falcon BMS 4.37.2 and old Il-2 1946, but TIR software doesn't recognize any.

UPDATE: Did a full reinstall (uninstall, reboot, install) - solved.

After updating I can not use hotkeys for Track IR in games like Pause< center view etc. They are does not work. How to fix it ?

I also had issues with 5.5.1.
I did update games list as well as shut it down but still did not work so i deleted (uninstalled all files TrackIR) and did a clean install. It worked then however i came up against another issue which was ArmA Reforger game i played, battleEye would block the DLL file so TrackIR wouldnt work with that game.
Looking at your change logs you say 5.5.1 Fix for unsigned TrackIR SDK DLLs, which caused some games to not work, this issue seems to still exist for me.
Ive rolled back to 5.5.0 as i never came across any issues with that version, up to now anyway

Since upgrading to 5.5.1 I'm also unable to connect to anything despite updating the game list.

I have a little extra information for the software devs regarding this problem in case it's of any help:

I have used both 5.4.2 and 5.5.0 in close proximity to 5.5.1, and both worked on Assetto Corsa (the only game ive used the latter two versions on, and the only game ive used any version on recently), though 5.5.1 did not. 5.5.1 did work in the TrackIR program and didn't show any weird behavior in the little bit I tested. I tried to restart both the game and the interface program I use for it, along with the TrackIR program several times to no avail. I didn't get a notification to update my games list, and it said it was up to date when I clicked on the options to manually check for game and software updates.

I have downgraded to 5.5.0 and it immediately began working in Assetto Corsa once I started the game up. I use a TrackClip Pro. I have not restarted my computer between updating from 5.4.2 to 5.5.0, to 5.5.1, nor back down to 5.5.0. The downgrade from 5.5.1 to 5.5.0 required me to uninstall the TrackIR program, but I copied my profile and setting files and pasted them into my 5.5.0 install, and they're working fine as far as I can tell.

Thanks for the updates and trying to help out with the issues software will inevitably have, hope y'all can get these kinks ironed out without too much hassle.

I have the same issue. No, games update + restart did not solve the issue.

I fly with what little time I have during the day to unwind. Today I spent that time troubleshooting to no avail.

same issue here. i went from 5.5.0 to 5.5.1. after installation i ran the games update.

the only application i use trackir with is microsoft flight simulator 2020 and it completely stopped working. i downgraded to 5.5.0 and everything is working normally again.
