Trackir software takes FOREVER to start

I've had my trackir for several years now and I'm noticing more and more that each time I start the program, it takes 1-2 minutes before actually working. If I click the window, it doesnt respond at all during this time. I just tried doing a clean install following the guide from these very forums, downloaded the latest version, and now its even SLOWER. It always eventually runs but it takes 2+ minutes sometimes to unfreeze. I disabled every last program and background service I could think of that might be causing a conflict and still nothing. What could be causing this?

Thanks for reaching out. What version of TrackIR software are you running? Are you running the latest 5.5.2 version?
