virtual markers

Post by StefaniaArango »

Good morning,
I have a question, I was reading the Motive documentation and I could not find if you can create virtual markers.
For example, I record and make a free shot without template with a certain number of markers and in the processing I can create additional virtual markers to simulate a segment of the body that I have left missing?

Thank you very much.

Yes, in OptiTrack's Motive software, it is indeed possible to create virtual markers. While you cannot add markers during the recording, Motive allows you to generate additional virtual markers during post-processing. These virtual markers can be used to fill in or approximate missing parts of a body segment by defining their positions relative to other markers in the capture. You can then use these virtual markers for analysis and simulation purposes as if they were part of the recorded data.
