Re: TrackIR Erradict Behavior Looking Right
Hi Keisentraut, thanks for bringing this up. That's interesting the behavior of the tracking seems to fail like shown in the video. Note, if you right-click in the viewport you should be able to set the viewport from "3D View" to "Camera View". In this view we can see what markers the camera is observing. If it's successfully tracking the three clip markers, then the three markers will be green. Otherwise, they will appear red. Any extraneous reflection will also appear red. I've uploaded a short video to my OneDrive demonstrating what this looks like:

Are you seeing any red markers appear in the camera-view when you turn your head right? Is the TrackIR clip turning red or are any of the three markers disappearing?

The only thing that has worked for me, despite following these instructions and updating and reinstalling C++ packages, is starting the software with the camera and clip unplugged and then plugging them back in.marcus.stewart wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 9:53 am Hi Keisentraut, thanks for bringing this up. Re: TrackIR Erradict Behavior Looking Right
Hello digopm,
I am wondering if there is a conflict of some sort with other software or hardware on your computer. Can you try unplugging all other peripherals except the keyboard, mouse, and TrackIR, then starting the TrackIR software? In Device Manager, what display adapters do you have listed? We have seen odd behavior when there are virtual display adapters (such as the Citrix Indirect Display Adapter).
Are you able to share a short video that shows the behavior you are seeing? In particular, it would be helpful to see how the dots move when the software is in Camera View mode.
Kind Regards,

Re: TrackIR Erradict Behavior Looking Right
This demo actually does a pretty good job capturing the left image. Perhaps some advanced settings are needed for each movement. Data loss is unavoidable when just experimenting with the Camera model. Will update the video when the final product is ready.keisentraut wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 8:51 am Camera works fine looking to the left. When I look to the right, it gets all eradicate.
