Precision video processing mode is jittery

As noted in the user manual, Standard Mode "should only be used with TrackIR 5 under extremely bright lighting conditions when the tracking screen is flickering and tracking is highly unstable." Is your set up being used in extremely bright light?

Would you also confirm whether you purchased the unit from an authorized reseller? A few years ago, there were a bunch of counterfeit units sold, and I am wondering if you may have purchased one of those by mistake.
