TrackIR causes total USB failure

All my USB devices abruptly stopped working today. I was able to determine through trial and error that my TrackIR 5 is responsible. When it's plugged in, everything immediately stops working, and when it's removed everything goes back to normal. This occurs regardless of whether it's plugged into the motherboard or the powered USB hub, whether or not I use the TrackClip or just the base camera, and whether the software is running or not. Rebooting the PC had no effect. My TrackIR software is updated to the latest version and the hardware functioned perfectly last time I used it. I wasn't even using it today, though the software was running in the background as I have it set to run at system startup. My Googling hasn't turned up anyone with an identical issue, the closest thing I could find is someone who reported a short in their TrackClip. Does anyone know what's going on, and can it be fixed?

Hello katyusha454,

Can you test your TrackIR camera with another computer to confirm that this is a hardware issue and not related to a driver conflict? Were there any changes to your computer shortly before this happened, such as newly installed software or hardware? Does the issue occur if only the TrackIR and a keyboard are connected? Please note we always recommend connecting the TrackIR directly to the USB on the motherboard, not through a hub.

The same issue occurs when I plug it into another computer. If I plug it in when only the keyboard is connected, the keyboard doesn't work. I did not install any new software or hardware before the issue occurred.
