I ordered the trackir 5 off of Amazon some time ago without the clip, only the hat reflector. I have a gift card and the only thing I can think of spending it on is the clip pro. How does it power? Does it have an internal battery? does it need to be plugged into a computer?

The TrackClip Pro is powered by USB. It can be plugged any USB power source (including the computer, a USB battery pack, or a USB power brick).
