Synchronization with eSync2

Post by SternSu »

I am trying to use the 3.3V output of eSync2 to trigger an external camera.According to the data sheet of the camera, there are three signals which should be input to it: SIGNAL_IN, GND_IN and VDD_IN. The 3.3V output of eSync2 should be sent to SIGNAL_IN, and I am wondering how can I get the GND_IN (ground) and VDD_IN from eSync2? There seems to be no such signals from eSync2.

You can obtain the ground (GND_IN) from the eSync2's common ground. Most electronic devices have a ground pin or pad that you can use. Check the eSync2 documentation for a designated ground pin.

If your camera is already powered separately (e.g., through its own power supply or PoE), then VDD_IN might not be required.
