Setup from the .tir file

Post by Bulz »

Is it possible to setup TiR from the .tir file using notepad?

Here's what my .tir file looks like.

80,15,15,0,0,1,1,0,1,0,0,5.000000,5.000000,5.000000,
21.000000,24.000000,24.000000,24.000000,25.000000,
25.000000,0.000000,0.000000,2.000000,16.000000,
19.000000,19.000000,19.000000,2 0.000000,20.000000,
1,1,1,1,2,15,3,15,1,1,1,1,1,0,1,
1,0,0,91,92,123,120,0,119,118,
91,92,88,67,0,66,65,C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\Modules\TrackIR.dll,0,English,FB1.tir,1,,1,0,0,25,0,0,0,1,0,

I find the GUI confusing, never have been able to slow the pan down. Last that I have been able to glen from post around the net. Is that, panning speed, has to be set with the speed bar and smoothing combined. Which makes no sense to me. I would think that the speed slider is the speed slider.

So, if the .tir file can be decoded. It would be much easier, for me anyway, to setup or change from the file itself rather than going through the GUI. If we knew what each number corresponded to.

We're considering releasing the spec soon, but it will require some resources (basic manual, additional support), so I wouldn't expect to see it in the immediate future.
