it is like trak ir has lagged or frozen

the reserve has 2 green lights, all 3 lights on the pro are green. I will be playing dcs and suddenly. the trackir locks up all lights are green but will not move, less i take my head phones off and move it closer to the screen , any ideas as this is starting to happen all most every time now,

There are a few possible reasons this could be happening. One is that your computer's settings may allow it to turn off USB ports to save power. You can try these steps to change this setting:

• Right click on the start menu and select Device Manager.

• Locate Universal Serial Bus controllers.

• For each item in this list with the word “hub” in its name, double click on the item and go to the Power Management tab.

• Uncheck the option “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” and press OK.

• Repeat for all USB hub devices.

• Restart the computer.

If that didn't resolve the issue, follow these steps:

• Open Control Panel and navigate to Control Panel

• Select All Control Panel Items

• Open Power Options.

• Click "Change plan settings."

• Click "Change advanced power settings."

• Find USB settings > USB selective suspend setting in the list, and ensure that it is set to disabled.

• Press OK and reboot your computer.

Another thing you can check is how the TrackClip Pro is being tracked in the software. When this next occurs, maximize the TrackIR software. Right click on the view port and select Camera View. Is the movement being tracked by the camera? Are there any red blotches or blobs? If so, look for other sources of infrared light (including sunlight) that may be interfering with the TrackIR's detection of the TrackClip Pro.

on of it has worked i can not see any problems think like a game is locked up

Hi scotttaylor,

Is the camera itself affected, or only the TrackClip Pro? You can try plugging the TrackClip Pro into a different USB power source (even a battery pack or USB power block (like the ones used by cell phone chargers). If the TrackClip Pro is indeed still failing, a replacement TrackClip Pro can be purchased as an accessory (without needing to buy a new TrackIR camera).
