TrackIR 5 Dont detect DCS game for auto profile

Hi,

my TrackIR program dont detect when I open DCS game. There is only this "DCS: A-10C" option under "Titles" tab, but I choose Smooth profile for it and it dont work. I guess something is broken with DCS detection on TraickIR program.

Its really annoying to have to change my profile for DCS everytime I open the game, since it could be done automaticaly if the program works...

Also, I would love to see a manual game selection option, so Ill be abble to fix this by my self.

Hello davigt,

Are you running both the TrackIR software and DCS either with or without administrative privileges? Having only one have those privileges can result in the game and the TrackIR software not connecting correctly. Are both green lights on the sides of the TrackIR camera lit?

I think I found the problem, for some reason TrackIR software recognize DCS as "Black Shark" game. Now I can pick the profile I want in "Titles" on Black Shark and it work fine.

But the question remain: WHY DCS (DIGITAL COMBAT SIMULATOR) is called Black Shark?

If you notice you have a DCS A10-C option, thats the one Ive been using that why wasnt working.

The way that TrackIR connects to each game uses a developer ID. Sometime developers reuse an existing ID rather than creating a new one. Black Shark is the name of some of the games in the DCS series. I'd suggest reaching out to the DCS developer to see if they want to update the name associated with that development ID for clarity.
