New install of MS Flight Sim 2024 sees a "Tobii" tracker.
(1) I've updated TrickIR to version 5.5.317.
(2) I have a brand new copy of MS Flight Sim 2024. MSFS2024 does find the TrackIR and says TrackIR. However, the specific type of tracker is seen as a Tobii device.
(3) Head Tracking sort of works but drifts all over the place. Hitting F12 sort of works but soon I'm viewing randomly like in the back seat or out of the side window and can not look out the front window.
(4) Any clues as to what could be the trouble?

TrackIR "Titles" tab does show MS Flight Simulator 2024.
This issue happens with both the TrackClip and TrackClip Pro.
TrackIR works great with Eagle Dynamics Digital Combat Simulator.
I assume this is a Flight Sim issue.

When you launch the TrackIR software and then launch MSFS 2024, is the TrackIR software detecting that MSFS 2024 is running? If so, I would reach out to the developers of MSFS 2024 for support on why the wrong device is being identified.

I have to say that asking me to contact Mircosoft isn't a good answer. Yes, MSFS 2024 is where I have a problem but don't you think your support team should know about it and work with Microsoft on fixing the issue? This can't be an isolated issue.
Question: Has your support team been able to test TrackIR in MSFS 2024?
Please report back to me that your team has *tested* MSFS 2024.

All of the integration into each game is handled by the game developer with the use of an SDK that we provide. Most users are not having any issues with using MSFS2024, so the problem you are having is likely due to either some other hardware on your system causing a conflict or a setting in MSFS2024. We are not able to provide support for individual games. If you find that the TrackIR camera is not working in the TrackIR software, we are happy to help troubleshoot our software.
