The small hesitations or stutters I was getting I have tracked down to the vector clip itself. I read some posts on SimHQ that the new style Vector clip gives better performance even with TRKIR 3 units.
I purchased the New vector clip. Then the hesitations started. I spent a week playing around with settings ,smoothing ,filtering etc but to no avail. I took a pluck and put the older style vector clip on and voila all hesitation was gone, back to smooth effortless panning.
Looking at the 2 different clips is interesting. The older style clip has larger surface area on the reflector units themselves. The newer unit has smaller reflector units and the curvature of the units is a lot more (smaller radius).
In my case The older style vector clip works a lot better with my TRKIR 3 Pro.
Naturalpoint can you make sense of this ?
