Have you tried using either Ctrl+F12 or just F12 instead of Alt+F12. Our product manager noted that Alt is a special character in some software. For example, it causes the File menu to open in many programs, which could interfere with TrackIR seeing the combination correctly. He also suggested that you confirm that the Trap checkbox is checked so that the hotkey will only be used by the TrackIR software.

5.5.3 installed over 5.4.2. Removed profile. Recreated profile. Changed re-center to ctrl+F12. It was already recentering with other windows called up which was the first time since 5.4.2. Worked like a champ in Star Citizen.

1. Do you think the problem was my saved profile?
2. Do you think 5.5.3 applied a fix? I didn't notice anything specific in the patch notes.

-- Before I upgraded to 5.5.3, ctrl+f12 and alt+12 worked with 5.4.2
My next logical troubleshooting step is to see if alt+f12 works with 5.5.3 and then try it with 5.5.2.

If I can get alt+f12 to work with 5.5.2, then I guess it was a problem with the profile.

I'm not certain if the issue was the old profile or if there were other changes in 5.5.3 that may have impacted the hotkeys (I don't have a list of all of the bugs that were fixed), but I'm glad to hear it is working now.
