I have Vista and Lock On Gold.

I was having a problem where none of the axises were working at all.

I deleted the files as you have suggested and it solved my problem completely.

I noticed the TrackIR.ini file under the CONFIG folder is
dated back to 2003 even though I installed in 2008.
Being that the new TIR4 is much newer than 2003, thats prolly
the culpruit.

The TrackIR.ini file under the INPUT folder was dated the same
day I last ran LockOnFC with my TIR4, so that one didnt matter
deleting first and checking. The Config folder one seems to be
the important one being its too old. Deleting both doesnt hurt
either.
