Ok i just tried installing FSUIPC and it said the simconnect is not correct or somthing like that, and to run the repair utility but im afraid if i run the repair utility that FSX wont work and i will have to reinstall again. I also noticed somthing last install it seems FSX is not even installing sim connect but is rather just skipping it and not paying attention, so ive had to pull it off the disk and put it onto my drive manually.

Ok i just tried installing FSUIPC and that didnt work it said that simconnect was not installed i double checked and sure enough it wasnt there. I do not want to run the repair of FSX because everytime it has ended in FSX crashing at startup. IS their anyays to gte around this. Another thing i forgot to mention the last time i reinstalled FSX i noticed it didnt install the simconnect and i had to pull it off the disk manually. Any ideas?

Are you refering to the simconnect folder, or the file...........

If the folder is still there, then FSX doesn't reinstall the file itself, which means it may have some corruption within other simconnect files as well.

I would perform a full reinstall, including a full uninstall of FSX.....

Reinstalled FSX deleted everything related to FSX. Started it up nothing extra installed no service packs or anything. The blue light still did not light up.
