It is a TrackIR3 Pro, and I have been running the TrackIR_4.1.030.Final.B software successfully in CFS3 from about August 2007. Prior to that I was using 4.1.028.Final also without troubles in CFS3.

PROBLEM IS NOW FIXED
I read elsewhere in a post by SeaVee that he did a registry clean. So i completed the registry clean and TrackIR now works without problem again. I didn't even have to uninstall/re-install CFS3 and TrackIR3.
I haven't tried reinstalling my old LogiTech optical mouse yet - I'm just so happy to be flying with TrackIR in CFS3 / OFF / MAW and PTO again.

I have the same problem. This is terrible as its my most played game. I'm on Vista 32bit.

Currently we are seeing an issue with CFS3, Windows Vista, and the TrackIR software. It appears that the TrackIR software is not detecting the CFS3 software when using the Windows Vista OS, so there is no 5DOF movement. We hope to have it resolved shortly.
