Hi HeavyFlea,
Having said that, we think we've found a way around crashing issues for AMD customers that is specific to ONE scenario:
- Vertical Sync turned ON
- Triple Buffering turned ON
If any of you have had crashes with these settings on, please try this new build of the TrackIR software, and then report back with your experience:
http://media.naturalpoint.com/ftp/npupl ... -TB-VS.exe
Once you've downloaded the .exe, place it in your TrackIR folder. Start the software using this .exe and it should fix this particular crash.
We're still investigating any other particular AMD + OpenGL related issues, and whether we can circumvent them on our end.
I just tried this and it fixed it for me.

So, did a first test with BMS 4.32 simulation and it worked well. So I can confirm that it works with AMD CCC 12.10. So you can implement the fix into final software

And hope that with 12.11 in a few weeks not everything will change...

I confirm, no problems with driver 12.10 during an endurance test.
Good Job!

Hey Cupra, would you be willing to download the Catalyst 12.11 Beta drivers and test with them as well?

Normally I would not install any Beta stuff but in this case it is for a good thing and if I can help making a stable software for a important input system for the games I love I can do it.
It is now showing Catalyst 12.11 and I can launch the Track with your Tool-File too. Seems to work also on this version. Put my system hardware in my signature, maybe this also hels you a litte bit to find out what configurations work and which don't.

Great news. Thanks for testing.

I can confirm. Also here with 13.1 I can start TrackIR software...
Can anyone tell when this utility will be part of the normal device driver software?

Awesome. Thanks for reporting back in. We'll be rolling this update into a full release in the near future.
