well.. since I am at work, and obviously I'm not going to run the .exe here to find out...

Is there a new how-to guide( manual) included for 2.0?

Aff. It is directly below the download link for the software on the downloads page. Really nice looking manual too. Halstead did a great job on it.

ok tried it out a bit.
Nice interface and great new options.
Just tried it with OPF and UT2003. Will try IL2 and FS2002 tomorrow.

Sorry to say that, but vers 2.0 crashed my system about 5 times. After 20 seconds of playing the games, the computer restarted(with both games)

Havent found out exactly why. Maybe because i havent set mouse override delay to zero. Maybe it hasnt to do anything with trackIR.

After i set mouse override delay to zero and turned of the filters it did work like it should.
Could play the games each for about 15 min.
dont know what the real reason was.

Have to check tomorrow.

System: AMD 1.3 Ghz
512 Ram
Radeon 8500
Win2000

Maybe i can write more tomorrow (its 2 am here)

Jim can explain more but this was a question asked by the BETA testers as well. The idea behind TIR is for it to be integrated into every game by built in code. This will do away with the keymapping effect completly.

So instead of trying to get the code for keymapping to work correctly, NP has decided to spend their time and resources into getting everything integrated into games.

mine is not smooth now - jerky, so many options to go through (just make it work)

All I want is my setting from before with a dead zone!!!!!! I don't have any idea what 'progressive' setting is for example

Yeah, rtfm, but still!

If I showed you my previous settings and said - just put a little dead zone in

will report back

back: constantly getting 'no data' now - and the light on trackir is not on. Sometimes it pops on, then goes off quickly.

reinstalling....

ok, i got it now - at least some of this

I reinstalled, everything works in mouse emulation in IL2

But I can't use the deadzone in Enhanced mode?

If I hit F8 to activate it - it doesn't work in IL2.

You can't use Enhanced mode with IL2.

The game has to have the .dll file for it... So we are still left with Emulation mode until FB comes out.
