That's very good to hear. I feel it is a 'must have' for it.

I read that it might have it, but never did say for sure. This was some time ago though.

Everyone has been saying the LOMAC will be in a whole new generation of sims. That it will be the best sim ever released and will dominate the flight sim market.

That being said, how can a sim be all of these without TrackIR support? I mean, honestly. TIR is the best thing for the flight sim market after the invention of the home computer. I wont fly without one. It sure better support it and hopefully Oleg will be quick with getting it into IL-2 and FB.

We have some REALLY great game makers out there and Jim & the gang here have given them one more product to help sell their games with. I am sure they will not stall on this aspect.

Well I just did a small upgrade with the hope that I can run LOMAC well and also IL2 FB, from the latest LOMAC screen shots if it supports TIR then im sure were going to be in visual sim heaven and if they have all the other bits right too then it should be awsome combat sim too.

FYI I jusy poped a AMD XP2100 in and also ATI 9700 Pro and after comeing from my Duron 850 GF2 MX400 IL2 and FS2002 have never looked so good with 4xFSAA & 16xAA on also track IR is a lot smoother now as I have better FPS in both games

Ive been considering going from an AthalonXP 1800 to a 2600, and going from a GF3 Ti500 to an ATI 9700 Pro. Was curious to see what you personally think of the 9700.

Understand. I am waiting for the FX and ATI's next Gen to come up. Hopefully the prices will drop and I can get a 9700 for a good price. I may even go with the 9700 All In Wonder 128. Then I can output the signal to a Digital VCR as well.

We kinda got off thread here. Sorry gents.

Well I LOVE it nearly as much as my TIR unit

Im really pleased with it, with the drivers of the CD I had a few promblems with some games (BF1942, CFS3) not wanting to run right, but I have now loaded the Cat v3.0 drivers and DX9 and im happy with all my games, the best thing about it though is now I can play all the games I have tested at 4xFSAA & 16xAA with no slowdown at 1290x960x32.

Games tested so far using 4XFSAA & 16AA with FPS above 25 which I consider my base line.

OPFP Resistance
IL2
FS2002
BF1942
F1 2002 (with GTR2002 & BMW Mods)
Nascar 2003 demo
Rainbow 6 demo
American Army
BOB (running 1200x1600 4XFSAA 16xAA)
Falcon 4
WW2 Online
GP4
MS Train Sim

Games that didnt like FSAA & AA but at 1290x960x32 still

MS Gunship
STrike Fighters P1
CFS3 (still abit of a pig)
GPL

im very very happy at this I nearly waited for s GF FX but im glad i didnt now because of the noise issue alone, from here the drivers can only get better

Ive heard word from the LOMAC beta testers that TrackIR works very well with it. This is probably using the mouse view, exactly as IL-2 is now. It will work much better if the internal support is in place.

Basically, if they released LOMAC right now, it would function like IL-2. By the time June comes around, everything "should" be in place to have absolute integration.
