Track IR5 sofwate not running, need help please

I did set up a new computer and now everythign is running good. Everything except the Track IR5 sowatware. With version 4 it works, but version 4 is one I don't unterstand

In version 5 I can install without a problem but when I want to start up the software nothing happens. I get a process in my taskmanager taking about 30 % of CPU power but nothing more happens...

I am using AMD/ATI Win7/Vista64 software VER9_02 and I think catalyst 12.10.

Triple Buffering is off, so this hint does also not work..

So does anyone have a idea what to do or what catalyst version will work? I have a new HD7970 graphic card, so using a 2 year old version will not really work...

Users seem to be having the most luck with 12.6 of the ATI drivers. Also check to make sure it isn't just minimized to the system tray down by the clock.

Thanks for the very quick answer. I did the cehck, the software will not start
The hint with version 12.6 of device driver is not bad but this driver does not really support the new Matrix graphic cards or their special features, so I would have to deactivate most fo the features, loos 20 - 50 % of performance or go back to a older HD5xxx or HD6xxx series.

I made a screenshot for you. Showing the started Track IR software running als a prozess and taking 8 % of CPU power of a i7-3930K CPU... but no software or any other symbol in the taskbar...

I do not aspect that you can give a working slouting within 24h, but I and I think a lot of other people would be glad if we yould know that the guys at Natural Point are working on a soloution... If you pay 270 SFR (224 � / 295 US-$) for the Track IR5 Pro with clip and then the only soloution to make it working is using old device drivers there is something going wrong. Thats my opinion. Or you have to give the hint before selling that it will not work with modern AMD/ATI graphic cards...

Have you tried version 4 of the TrackIR software? It doesn't use OpenGL in the interface and therefore doesn't have a problem with AMD/ATI video cards.

I did. And it works so far.. but it's horrible to work with it if you don't have inscructions in a language you understand and are used with the version 5 and have profiles grown over months.

So I hope there will be new working versions.
