Not sure exactly what your asking... but if you want a large deadband....

Set the first 4 or 5 control points to 0. The rest, curve up slightly to your preference. That should give you a huge deadzone.

The filters are only used incase you are using a larger dot than normal. You can also use them to filter out other unwanted IR return. I have found the default settings are perfect for me and my clover leaf patter of dots.

Control Points....

Goto MOTION Tab
Click TRACKIR ENHANCED
Select CUSTOM in Motion Preset Box
Unclick "group Edit Points"
Set EDIT POINT to 0.
Set SPEED to 0.
Set EDIT POINT to 2.
Set SPEED to 0.
Set EP to 5 : Speed to 0
Set EP to 10 : Speed to 0

Now go though EP 10-20-30-40-50 and adjust the speed to the level desired. The higher the number, the faster the response.

Cheers.

I also have problems to create a deadzone that is sufficient enough to keep the view from changing in IL2 FB.

I 've put edit points 0 / 2 / 5 /10 /20 /30 and 40 to 0 speed , edit point 50 is the only point with 25 speed but whenever I'm in game the view changes with the slighest headmovement. I'm using the trackIr enhanced mode.

The other big thing you have to do is make sure you get full throw (travel) from side to side in your tracking page which usually means having your dot as close as comfortably possible to the receiver unit. You may need to fashion a "boom" on a baseball cap to get it closer so you can have the maximum amount of precision, and less extrapolation of the dot's position.

I find that if you have the dot just on your forehead you have to turn your head more and consequently raise the speed which isn't as good as the method I mentioned above.

If the dot only travels a portion of the tracking screen you are not getting the full travel.

I put a clover of 4 dots on a cylindrical tube (about half inch diameter) so that when your head is turned at the furthest edges of the screen the receiver can still recognise the dot shape.

Also you may want your verticle speed a bit higher so you don't break your neck looking up and down too.

Nevermind my post, I got it working now.
Problem was that, even when naturalpoint software said it was in TrackirEnhanced mode, Il2 Fb still recognized it as mouse emulation. So I just have to press F8 again to have it work.
