Trackir5 does not track after 10-15 degrees of head movement

I have had this issue before, when a mike from support temporarily fixed the issue by cleaning my registry, but as I said it seems to have only temporarily fixed it. After 5 minutes of the trackir5 software being on I can hardly move my head more than 10 degrees without all three dots going red, even though they are clearly visible. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that solved nothing. I am hoping for a more permanent fix this time.

P.S this is on the track clip pro, I have not tried it on the hat clip as my hair gets in the way of it, the attached file will show what I mean.
