Hello,
i am still using Arena and with my V100r2 Camera Setup (12 Cameras)
would Motive allow me to capture the actor laying on the floor ?
i recently saw a video of another optical system where the demo-actor did that.
she layed on the back and rolled on the front, and got captured all perfectly.
(with more markers on the body front and back.. which arena doesnt seem to support.. or ?)
also, would it allow me to capture fingers ?
or is that something only for the bigger cameras ?
greetings!

Re: Lay Floor Capture
Thanks Dustin,
yes, Brent contacted me and now we run Motive instead of Arena.
we are spontaniously impressed with it !
its awesome now to be able to capture kneeling, crawling, and have more freedom in tricky poses.
only i am missing a few more informations about proper placing of the markers on the body.
the templates have that figure that shows them, but i would like to have more detailed informations.
in arena it gave these detailed informations like "have the hip markers at the same height" or the elbow markers so they dont move when bending the arm.. and all such.
are more details available anywhere ?
then i noticed in the youtube video of your channel, with the OSU dance team,
the girl had the markers placed on the body totaly different.
looks great and reasonable the way they use it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBAvjU0 ... fA&index=7
its different then the baseline 37/41 markerset in motive.
can i make a custom one ?

Hello Artoo,
It is not possible to create a custom skeleton. However, you can add markers to a skeleton once it has been created.
The mannequin within Motive should show exactly where the markers need to be placed. If you are having issues with marker placement please contact us at help.naturalpoint.com. We could arrange a remote desktop session to help you out.
Best Regards,

Re: Lay Floor Capture
How would i do that with adding markers to a baseline setup ?
there is a button "assign markers to skeleton"
but how do i do it ?
do i create the baseline skeleton first ?
i tried that, sticked on 2 more markers on the chest,
selected them and klicked the button.. but what then ?
it didnt seem to realy add them, and while the 2 markers where on the chest, motive seemed to have much more trouble running the skeleton.
any help would be highly appreciated
cheers!

Hi Artoo,
This might be easier to show you via a remote desktop session or I can create a video for you. Either way, could I have you create a ticket with us at help.naturalpoint.com so we can arrange something?
