TrackIR crashes on War Thunder and IL2:BOS

When I launch each of these games with TrackIR it works perfectly fine, but when I alt tab and try to open the tray icon to switch to a different profile, it crashes without even opening and without an error message. This is more or less a recent issue, in the past it would work perfectly fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Does this happen with only War Thunder and IL2:BOS, or does it happen with other titles? I haven't heard of it crashing when trying to alter the the program.

Yes, it only seems to happen with IL2:BOS and War Thunder.

I've tested some other flight sims (DCS, IL2:1946, IL2:COD) and they all seem to work fine, and they let me alter the profiles while alt tabbed.

I'll be testing out War Thunder and this issue tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully I can pinpoint the cause for you.
