TrackIR 5 Windows 10 Not Working USB Driver Issue

I'm posting this to help the community if someone experiences a similar problem.

My Windows 10 x64 system did to see the device.
In device manager the system seen something connected but didn't recognize what it was.
Constant swapping and changing ports did not help, I've even contacted support.

In the TrackIR folder I noticed no drivers.

So here's my solution that worked for me, good luck...
Go to your PC's Device Manager...
Right click on the unknown item (You know its TrackIR!)
Browse My Computer for Software ...
Search C:\

The search found and installed the right driver for me, don't ask me where it was it just found it.
I've got a feeling that the install package "might" be putting the drivers in another folder in Win10.

Anyway, I'm up and running, good luck if you have similar problems.

Thanks for sharing. I'm having the same problem, but unfortunately this solution didn't work for me. It still didn't find the driver after searching all of C:\.

i have Win 10 PRO x64 but a big surprise YOU DONT SUPPORT Win 10 !! - WHY

and i cannot instal !!! driver becouse driver support only

HEMAN,

There are Windows 10 drivers, if you look at the system requirements on our site it should state:

"System Requirements

Requires TrackIR 3 Series hardware or newer
Windows Vista or newer
60 megabytes of free hard disk space"

The insert in the packaging you have may be out of date.

Hi everyone,

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

Unfortunately I am also having issues with the Windows 10 drivers (64-bit) not being detected, even on manual search on location (npusbio_x64) and on the entire C:/ drive.

Removing & reinstalling the drivers and/or software did not solve the issue. Default installation locations were used, and different ports were tested.

What am I missing? Thanks in advance!
