Hi,
I'v maybe found a conflict between TrackIR 5.4.1 and the microsoft Wireless/wired Xbox One pad driver for windows 10.
First i'v noticed a strangely elevated high cpu usage from the trackIR software, around 35/40% when it's usually as low as 2/4%.
After a lot of trials, i'v found that when i remove the USB wireless key shipped with my Xbox One Pad, the CPU usage is back to normal...
And as soon as i plug it again, TrackIR software climb to high CPU Usage.
Also, even if i use my Xbox One pad plugged via an USB cable, the CPU usage is still high....removing the pad and all is back to normal.
I'v tried with an Xbox 360 pad,and a thrustmaster T-flight X and everything is normal.
So, as soon as i plug my Xbox One Pad, either wired or wireless...TrackIR software is rising to abnormal level of cpu usage...
I'v sent a msg to Microsoft support but i still waiting for an answer. If Anyone can help ?

Re: TrackIR Software - Abnormal high CPU usage
Billoute,
My Xbox One game pad will be here tomorrow evening. I'll test this out to see if I have the same issue. Once I can replicate the issue we can work on a solution. I'll let you know what I find out, but it will likely take until Monday. The game pad is being delivered to my house and I won't get to test it until I get there tomorrow evening.
Regards,

Re: TrackIR Software - Abnormal high CPU usage
thks for your help.
meantime i found a way to resolve the high CPU usage, but i must do the trick each time i reboot my PC.
with TrackIR software running (at high cpu usage), i need to remove "Network adapters\Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows" from the device manager, then do a hardware scan to let windows reinstall it...after that both my xbox one pad and track IR software are running normally.
I know that the latest windows 10 cumulative update changed a lot of things, mainly fixes, to the xbox controller. A lot of issues seems to appear with some games, usually because of bad usage of xinput libraries. I hope that maybe the next update from microsoft will solve some issues.
NB : if you have a new Xbox One pad, you may need to do a firmware update, you can do that in windows 10 by launching the application "xbox accessories", it'll do the update automatically if needed.

Billoute,
I'll keep that in mind when testing this weekend. Hopefully it is something that I can get resolved.

Re: TrackIR Software - Abnormal high CPU usage
Hi Mike,
Just wanted to add my 2c. I've noticed this exact same problem recently with the TIR5 and my *wired* Xbox One Controller. With the TIR Software open and the controller plugged in CPU usage goes up to 40-45% for the TIR Software. If i unplug the Xbone controller CPU usage returns to normal (1-2% or idle). Plug it back in and up it goes again. If you'd like me to post any info that might help you diagnose this issue hit me back and i'd be happy to provide.

Hello,
I have been able to reproduce the issue, but not quite pinpoint it. I've dropped the information off with my Dev for him to take a look at. Hopefully we will know more soon.

Re: TrackIR Software - Abnormal high CPU usage
Great, thanks mate. Unable to play Arma 3 properly because this glitch has an odd symptom as well I think. When I look down with the TIR the view blinks to different view angles and it can be quite off-putting/disorienting
