Although I mostly try to steer clear padlock, there are times I need to use it - (ie. I like to pl and zoom in - much easier when pl'd).
However, when I turn pl off, or lose pl - why view gets all messed up.
Is there a way to just have it stay looking at the what was just padlocked? ie. no view forward, etc...
It's so bad, I almost went back to non- enhanced mode

Re: Padlock Problem
Do you pause TIR prior to going into PL?

Re: Padlock Problem
No.
My solution is now to bind a key that runs a macro that
F4 + F12
F4 = padlock
F12 = center view
So, I hit that key and it brings me to center view rather than just throwing my view anywhere.

Re: Padlock Problem
I was using padlock and enhanced mode just now and found I had no problems.
When I paused TIR and then hit F4, I would padlock OK. Then I hit F4 again and it went back to where my view was when I paused it.
When I left TIR on and padlocked, it works OK and then when I hit F4 again, it went to my current head position.
No rpoblems on my end.
