2 questions about eh TIR3pro (issues)

Post by Jeroen rep »

1) maybee a bit weird, but because the IR radiation the TIR sends out is pointed right at your eyes, I was wondering if this isn't bad for your eyes.

2) are there any known issues with TIR3 pro, esspecialy with winXP, P4 HT?

Allright, I agree. The first question might just be a bit stupid. Since so many people use the TIR. But the second on can't be that hard to answer.

I have allready seen some probems pointed out at the forum over here, but I was just wondering if the problems are specific to HT (hyper threating) or win XP

Hi all,
Not trying to be off topic, But the HT, with gaming seems to be a problem with any heavy graphics rendering gaming, I've had several friends in flight sim's have the big LOCK UP!
and when they disable the HT in bio's it fixes the problem. Plus I or They hav'nt seen any real performance issue's

Good Luck

I have HT enabled all the time and I don't have any problems with games. Not even when I turn the grafics all the way up. The games are for instance: Lock on, IL2, Far cry, UT2004.

Jeroen rep,

Hyperthreading was fixed in version 3.02 and above.
Check that you have the latest drivers for your motherboard, such as the chipset.

Thanks for the answers. I do not have TIR yet, I wanted to find out if there where any known problems before I got it. Now that I have found out there aren't any, TIR will be comming.
