Trackir sticking

Post by blaztoff »

My TrackIR seems to be sticking on views sometimes. I tried to look and see if there are any other light sources and sometimes there are but soemtimes there is no other light source and i will still stick.

Then t times I will be using it and I will look back then look over my other shoulder and then lok back over the other shoulder except this time I cannot look as far back as I did before. Maybe only a 90% angle as opposed to fully looking behind my shoulder. Or MY range of motion will stop and not be as great as before. I look at my Motion window and I see my ball all the way to one side of the scrren adni can watch it stcik on the edges sometimes. Then I look at the tracking page and it is smack dab in the middle.

Also sometimes my tracking light will go off. Can it be that is is geting hot and turning off?

Thanks

blaztoff,

It sounds like you are going outside the field of view when this happens.

If you are running through a hub connect directly to your motherboard.
If you are using the TrackHat ensure that you have trackhat selected under the Tracking Tab.

When you loose tracking where is the green dot in the Tracking Window when this happens?

Please e-mail me and let me know what game you are playing then we can get you set with a good profile.

Do you see a blue light at the bottom lighting up the lower parts of the TIR?
Don't know about the other issues you're mentioning.
